Bitcoin Surpasses $97,000 Mark; Crypto Market Rises, Trading Volume Increases 8%

Bitcoin hit a new record on Thursday, surpassing $97,000 for the first time, fueling a rally in the global crypto market. The total market cap rose by 3.56 percent to $3.19 trillion, while trading volume up by 8.09 percent to $195.38 billion. MAD MAD was the most trending cryptocurrency. It was up by 75.17 per cent to $0.00003064. Its 24-hour trading volume was 8.84 million. Bitcoin Cash BCH was the top gainer. It was up by 17.54 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $1.01 Billion. Goatseus Maximus GOAT was the top loser. It was down by 17.15 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $374.39 million.

DeFi was up by 0.90 per cent to $8.65 billion, Coinmarketcap.com reported.

Ethereum: Ethereum ETH was up by 0.48 per cent to $3,126.44 from the previous day. Its 24-hour trading volume was $33.48 billion. Ethereum’s market dominance was 13.3 per cent.

Tether: Tether USDT was trading at $1. It was down by 0.03 per cent. Its 24-hour trading volume was $159.17 billion. It was ranked third on Coinmarketcap.
