Home Credit Takes Initiatives to Support Employees During Covid-19

Healthy work-life balance along with holistic well-being has taken precedence as we fight the second wave of Covid-19. Home Credit India is supporting its employees with a slew of financial and medical assistance measures which ensure safeguarding the life of employees and their families. 

Employee Centric Covid Task Force

Home Credit India has set up a Covid task force comprising proactive and willing employees who go that extra mile to help other colleagues. The task forces help in creating awareness regarding plasma donation and provide vehicle assistance in emergency cases. 

The non-bank financial institution has also offered funds to provide financial help to the employees and acquired oxygen cylinders and concentrators at various office locations. 

Financial & Medical Aid to Affected Employees

Home Credit has initiated a program where an employee who has been deceased due to Covid will be given a salary for one-year up to Rs 5 lakh. 

Advance leave allocation for employees has been put in place for the entire year that can be availed for Covid-19 period.

In today’s time, people are psychologically and emotionally feeling drained and even the smallest of the problems are becoming a cause for worry. Home Credit has organised free online doctor consultation services. 

Emotional & Physical Well-Being of Employees 

The anxiety of testing Covid positive apart, organisations have also realized that a large section of employees is just overwhelmed by the despairing situation. Activities like zumba, yoga, and several webinars are scheduled for the wellness of employees.
