BMW India Extends Service and Warranty Packages

OLM Desk

BMW Group India has given its customers a helping hand by extending dealer warranty coverage and service and repair Inclusive packages until June 30, 2021. This offer is available to all BMW and MINI customers whose warranty and Service / Repair Inclusive packages expire between March 31, 2021, and June 29, 2021.

One of the most appealing features of Service Inclusive is that when the validity period has expired, clients may renew or extend their package for up to 15 months by simply paying the difference. Any part price or tax rate rise that occurs during the package's run period is not passed on to the clients.

Features Included in Package

  1. Service Inclusive Products

Oil Service Inclusive, Service Inclusive Basic, and Service Inclusive Plus are the three Service Inclusive products. Each has a different scope of services covered. Customers can choose from a variety of options for a duration/mileage of their choice, ranging from 3 years/ 40,000 kilometres to 10 years/ 200,000 kilometres.

The Oil Service Inclusive Basic plan is targeted at customers with modest consumption and solely covers oil changes on their vehicles. All routine maintenance work, such as vehicle check and standard scopes, check, engine oil service, engine oil top-ups, and service and replacement of air filter, fuel filter, microfilter, spark plugs, and brake fluid, is included under Service Inclusive Basic.

In addition to the foregoing, Service Inclusive Plus includes the replacement of wear and tear parts such as brake pads, brake discs, wiper blades, and clutch. Customers may also purchase Service Inclusive for their current vehicles, with the package starting from the date of purchase rather than the commencement of the warranty.

Service packages are offered in the business portfolio for clients that have a high level of use. These contracts begin at two years and 200,000 kilometres, with extension possibilities available.

          2. Cost and Warranty

The cost of maintenance is significantly lowered as a result of the benefits of Service Inclusive and Condition Based Service (CBS), giving clients complete flexibility to enjoy their vehicle.

With Repair Inclusive, a vehicle's regular warranty can be extended for up to 6 years beyond the original period of 24 months for unlimited miles. Within the stipulated miles/duration, all essential repairs are covered.

Service and Repair Inclusive is simply transferred in the event of a change of ownership. Consistent maintenance by skilled service personnel, as well as the use of genuine BMW and MINI parts, adds to the car's long-term worth.

      3. Safety Protocols

The BMW Group India dealer network is being thoroughly sanitised. Sanitation of workplaces, showrooms, and cars is part of this process. Sanitization of all designated ‘High Touchpoints' (Door handles, Power Windows, Steering wheel, Gear lever, Seats)  is defined in the standard operating procedure.

All clients may now enjoy a safe test drive at BMW and MINI stores. Before and after test drives, all test-drive cars will be thoroughly decontaminated. To limit the hazards, the rules also recommend keeping disinfection wipes and hand sanitizers in all test-drive automobiles at all times, as well as using air conditioning with the fresh air intake option turned on.

Mr. Vikram Pawah, President, BMW Group India said, “At BMW Group, we stand together – because that is our culture and a strong value system which has always stood the test of time. We have once again undertaken comprehensive measures to support our customers to ensure a hassle-free ownership experience of their BMW and MINI vehicles during this unprecedented time. With a network of dedicated dealer partners, expert teams, and strong processes, we will make consistent efforts in ensuring complete peace of mind, both on and off the road.”
